Who We Are

The seeds of Listening Unlimited were sown almost thirty years ago when Chery Cutler and Ran Huntsberry co-founded Sonomama Improvisation Dance Theater.

After countless hours of rehearsal and years of reflection, we discovered that listening, or paying attention to what is actually going on with ourselves, with each other, and with our environment, is not only essential to the discipline of improvisation, it is the very basis of creativity in every walk of life.
